Happy Halloween! (almost...but who's counting?)

Happy Halloween! Okay, almost. Happy almost Halloween! Can you believe that Halloween is somehow only ten days away?!

 

As autumn unfolds and Halloween creeps closer and closer, there's an energy of mystery in the air. The leaves are changing, the nights are longer (how are we feeling about waking up in pitch black? kinda spooky, huh?), and there's that sense of “What's next?” lurking just around the corner. It can feel a bit unsettling, right? 

 

In life, just like with Halloween, the unknown doesn't have to be scary. In fact, embracing uncertainty can lead to some of the most profound growth.

 

We have this ability to release control by utilizing acceptance. Life has its twists and turns, and while that can seem spooky, it also means there's always room for something new, unexpected, and exciting to happen. Therapy helps us build resilience for those moments, teaching us to trust in ourselves and handle life's curveballs with grace. Ask your therapist about “acceptance” and watch how their eyes light up. It's seriously our favorite topic.
